F. A. Q.

Q:  Where does this stone come from?
A:  Every color comes from different parts of the world.  We import colors from India, Africa, Zimbabwe, Norway, China, California, Vermont, Wisconsin etc.  Every color is unique to it's own origin.

Q:  What is the difference between stone and granite?
A:  Granite contains "Quartz".  This is the part that gives granite it's hardness rating.  However, stone products are used in the industry for memorial use.  They all stand up well in the elements.

Q:  How do the "Laser" designs hold up outside?
A:  We have been doing the "Laser" designs for about five years and so far they have done very with the elements.

Q:  Can I be there when they set my stone?
A:  It is very difficult to pinpoint the day and time that we will actually install the memorial.  If is absolutely necessary to call we will, but traditionally the cemetery caretakers will mark the lcoation for us.

Q:  What is your payment plan?
A:  We ask for 1/2 payment with the order, and the balance is due upon completion of the stone.  Or you may choose to pay in full at the time of the order.

Q:  Is the death date included in the cost of the stone?
A:  Traditionally, any lettering done after the stone is installed in the cemetery is not included in the cost of the original purchase price.

Q:  How long will the cement foundation last?
A:  Cement foundations will last between 15 - 25 years depending on the quality of the pour.  Granite foundations, however, are guraranteed to last the lifetime of the stone.  There is usually a small up-charge for these, but well worth the extra cost in the long run.
